“FaceHist”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to FaceHist.. We build Android apps that help people discover AI-generated pictures, curate collections, comment, and save favorites (the “Services”).

Scope

This policy applies to all current and future Android apps published by FaceHist under our official developer account (collectively, the “Apps”). Examples include, but are not limited to: [Find My Face], [Face Ethnic Check]. If an app has app-specific differences (e.g., additional SDKs or features), we will provide an in-app notice or add an addendum below.

Data we collect

1) Account & profile (if you create or sign in)

• Authentication identifiers (e.g., Google Sign-In UID)

2) User content & activity

• Comments, captions, likes, saves, curated collections
• Reports/flags you submit and moderation metadata
• Public profile elements you choose to share (e.g., display name)

3) Usage, diagnostics & device info

• App events, screens viewed, taps, session length, referral source
• Crash logs and performance data (e.g., stack traces)
• Device model, OS version, language, country/region, app version
• Advertising or app instance identifiers (if analytics/ads are enabled)

4) Content you provide (optional)

• In-app feedback or support messages

5) Permissions (granted only when you use the feature)

• Notifications — to alert you about replies or updates

How we use data

• Operate the Apps and deliver features (feeds, curation, comments, saves)
• Personalize discovery (e.g., recommend content based on in-app activity)

Children’s privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No system is perfectly secure; please use unique, strong credentials and keep your device up to date.

Exact permissions may vary by App and Android version; the system will prompt you before granting optional permissions.

Third-party content & AI-generated images

The Apps surface AI-generated images and links that may come from third-party sources or creators. Third-party sites and services are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices. You can report problematic content via in-app tools.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our Apps or laws. We will post the updated policy here and update the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be announced in-app or by other reasonable means.
